OPHELIA FINKE
TAKES TWO TO TANGO
MAY 5TH, 6-9 PM

MAY 5TH - JUNE 3RD, 2017

Ronald Reagan, actor and President of the United States during the Cold War, didn't take long to realize that he needed a partner to dance with.

Bulldozing walls.

My newest installation
Takes Two to Tango approaches the notion of Zweisamkeit (the state of being two).

It may be seen as an addendum to my work
Maverick, for which I have spent the winter months in Brandenburg in solitude.

In
Takes Two to Tango I set up camp for my friend and I on Mulberry Street in New York.
